Mastering IELTS Writing: Task 1 Academic (Band 9 Answers)

Hello dear IELTS candidates,

Is it difficult for you to analyse and describe the graphs, charts, processes and maps that appear in IELTS Writing Task 1?

Do you struggle to identify main trends, to work out which information is most relevant, and to present data with accuracy?

Are you unsure how to structure your response? Do you feel you lack the descriptive vocabulary related to data? Is it hard for you to use comparative structures of grammar and complex sentences?

I have designed this course for anyone who answers ‘yes’ to any of the above questions.

When focusing on each video lesson, you will discover how to plan your response for each type of Task 1 question effectively, how to produce a quick and accurate introduction, how to make seamless transitions between sentences and paragraphs, how to identify main trends and select information which counts as ‘key features’, how to use vocabulary which describes data precisely and effectively, and how to include a wealth of grammatical complexity without sacrificing clarity.

By studying the course in this way, you will improve your writing skills and learn how to use different approaches for each of the task types, advanced vocabulary, relevant examples and supporting ideas.

And if you have any questions as you work your way through the lectures, please don’t hesitate to ask me in the Q&A section of the course.

See you inside the course!
